2025 promises to be an exhilarating summer for both locals and tourists, featuring the longest season, the most participating teams, and the largest, most spectacular stage in its history.
Visitors coming to Da Nang this summer for DIFF 2025 can refer to the information below to choose the most suitable time for their visit. Please note that this information is based on advice from the Organizing Committee and the Da Nang Tourism Promotion Center.
Longest and Most Diverse Fireworks Season
DIFF 2025, themed “Da Nang – A New Era,” will run from May 31 to July 12, making it the longest fireworks season in 15 years with six performance nights.
For the first time ever, this year’s festival will feature 10 teams, including two from Vietnam, alongside participants from Finland, the UK, Portugal, Poland, South Korea, Italy, Canada, and China. The opening night on May 31 will feature a spectacular show between Vietnam 1 and Finland, under the theme “Cultural Essence.”

Subsequent nights will take place every Saturday (with one week off before the final), with themes and participating teams as follows: Night 2 (June 7): Creative Art – Vietnam 2 vs. Poland. Night 3 (June 14): Connecting Journey – Canada vs. China. Night 4 (On June 21st) will feature a “Sustainable Development” showdown between Portugal and the UK. Night 5 (June 28): Technology Leads the Way – South Korea vs. Italy. Night 6 (July 12): Welcoming a New Era – The Grand Final
Widest Stage Ever
The main stage and grandstand, located on Tran Hung Dao Street, cover an area of over 1,600 square meters, more than 60% larger than last year’s, with an open design. This is considered the largest-scale stage in the festival’s 15-year history. The fireworks launch site remains at the Han River port on the opposite bank, as in previous years.
Beyond its expansive size, this year’s DIFF stage integrates advanced performance technologies, including five elevating arches and LED floors, providing spectators with optimal viewing angles from every position. The immersive surround sound system enhances both the fireworks display and the artistic performances.
Fireworks Viewing Tickets
The grandstand this year can accommodate approximately 10,200 people per night, with five seating categories: A VIP, A, A1, A2, and A3. The lowest ticket price is one million VND (A3), 1.5 million VND (A2), 1.5 million VND (A1 and A2), 2 million VND (A), and 3.5 million VND (A VIP). These prices apply to individuals 1 meter tall and above. Children under 1 meter are admitted free and must share a seat with an adult (if they occupy a separate seat, a full ticket must be purchased).
For the final night, the organizers have added an A4 grandstand. Ticket prices are also adjusted higher: 1.3 million VND (A4, A3), 2 million VND (A1), 2.5 million VND (A), and 4.5 million VND (A VIP).
Approximately 15 tourist boats operating Han River tours are authorized to sell tickets for cruises that combine river sightseeing with fireworks viewing. These cruises run from 5 PM to 9 PM and include dinner. Ticket prices vary:
- Economy Class: From one million VND to 1.2 million VND (adults) and 800,000 VND (children). For the final night, prices range from 1.3 million VND to 1.5 million VND for adults, and from 1.1 million VND for children.
- Premium Class: From 2.2 million VND to 3.5 million VND (adults) and 1.5 million VND to 2.4 million VND (children). The final night’s tickets start at 2.5 million VND for adults and 1.75 million VND for children.
The aforementioned tickets can be purchased on the Organizing Committee’s website and at the ticket office on Hai Phong Street, Thanh Khe District.
Important Notes for Visitors
- Summer is peak tourist season in Da Nang, so visitors should book hotel rooms early, especially those located near the Han River.
- Roads near the Han River may be closed during fireworks nights. Visitors should check announcements from the city or their hotel for convenient circulation.
- Visitors should be careful to purchase fireworks tickets only from officially announced points of sale, avoiding unofficial sources or multiple resellers to prevent counterfeit tickets.
- For those viewing the fireworks from the grandstand, do not bring flammable or explosive materials. Children under 3 years old should watch from a distance to avoid the impact of strong lights.
