The Taj Mahal is open to visitors every day from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM, except for Fridays. During the full moon period, it offers night viewing from 8:30 PM to 12:30 AM for five consecutive days.

When to Visit?

The most enchanting times to experience the Taj Mahal are at sunrise and sunset. At dawn and dusk. Before entering, visitors will go through security checks and are not allowed to bring food, cigarettes, headphones, or phone chargers. The main part of the temple is an octagonal tomb about 75m high. The roof of the mausoleum is shaped like a lotus flower on a dome made of sandstone and marble. The highest part of the tomb is gold-plated and is designed with Hindu and Persian architectural styles. Inside the mausoleum are luxurious furnishings and extremely sophisticated designs.
